I fear for people who refuse to believe the account of Genesis - for they miss the game plan of Satan. His game plan is not frontal assault, nor an overwhelming barrage - his game plan is a soft lie whispered in your ear. Verse 1-3 reveals that he feigns interest in the Word of God spoken to humans and adds to what God has said in order to bring confusion to the human mind about the clear Word of God. He then takes advantage of the human’s confusion and speaks a lie into our ear - telling us that God didn’t mean what He said.
We have an enemy - every human has the same enemy.
This enemy wants us to die, so he whispers to each of us
“God didn’t really mean that you are going to die if you disobey Him.”
“You will not certainly die.”
Don’t believe his lies.
