John 4:1-26

"The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” 

Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes,

 let him take the free gift of the water of life."

{Revelation 22:7} (NIV1984)

 

Jesus will turn no one away. All who seek Him will find Him. All who ask Him will receive life. The Spirit and the church know this, and this will always be their message to the unsaved. Come! Come! Do you wish life? A life that never ends, that fills your entire being for all eternity. Do you want that life? Then come as you are. 

Come to Jesus who taught us that we are to give to the one who asks, and not turn away from the one who wants to borrow. Come to the One who has life to give. Do you know who He is? Do you know that He gives to overflowing, that He is generous, that He has no conditions or terms? Save one! He has one condition. Simply that you, of your own accord, come to Him and ask. 

Oh Friend, humble yourself and ask. For those of us who have received this gift, remember that it was free, and we didn’t earn it, and so it is in our life today, we don’t have to earn His grace to live today. No, simply ask for Him to give us all we need for this day that is before us. Thank you Jesus!
