“Let all creation rejoice before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness.”
Psalm 96:13 (NIV)
The trees will sing, the fields will be jubilant, the ocean and its creatures resound - all of Creation will rejoice – for the LORD is coming to Judge!
This psalm will build our faith, for those times when we look around and wonder- where is justice?
Think of the most unjust thing you or a loved one has experienced, fix your mind on that injustice, and your faith will shrink and shrivel and fade away, and you will question if God is even alive. But fix your mind on the LORD, sing a song to His honour, ascribe glory to Him, bring an offering to Him, worship Him in the splendour of His holiness, and you will have the faith you need to pray and pray for justice, not giving up, for you will KNOW that the LORD will come to judge.
He comes - He comes to judge the earth.
